What should I do if misting nozzles plug up?
Cleaning Nozzles - Replace or clear obstructed or clogged nozzles.
Nozzles may be cleared by scraping the stainless steel end with flat surface of a knife or
screwdriver. To remove nozzle, turn in counter-clockwise direction. Nozzles may be routinely
cleaned by soaking in solution of LIME AWAY!" or CLR overnight. Rinse thoroughly after soaking.
Replace nozzle by turning in clockwise direction until snug.
Where do I place my patio mist line system?
Place mist line around the perimeter of the area to be cooled. This forms a mist curtain, a cooling
barrier between the protected area and the outside heat. The mist line should be mounted 8' to 10'
above the ground.
How much water does a misting system actually use?
This will vary depending on the size of the system and the number of nozzles to be used.

Do I need a filter for my system?
Our high pressure systems are with filters.
For our low and med pressure systems you can use our Poly-Phosphate Filters. The unique Filters
actually accomplishes two things. First, it will filter out any sediment from the water supply
thereby preventing it from getting into the mist line and plugging the nozzles. Second, the filter
contains phosphate crystals which are designed to surround the hard water deposits (calcium,
sodium, and magnesium) and prevent them from adhering to the misting nozzle. This will also help
eliminate the hard water buildup and will keep the mist system operating at peak performance for a
longer period of time.
Is there any maintenance required?
The only maintenance required for a properly designed misting system is a periodic cleaning of the
nozzles and an annual check-up for the pump. This check-up may include adding or changing of the
oil and tightening or replacing of fan belts (only on the pulley driven pump models), and changing
of the filter cartridge. Misting Fan Systems require very little maintenance. We do recommend some
preventative care and cleaning for the nozzles.

MIST&COOL!" Outdoor Cooling Systems employ evaporative cooling to
effectively cool and condition the environment. Using our proprietary misting nozzles, an ultra
fine mist is introduced into the environment which interacts with the air to cool, clean, humidify
and to repel flying insects. |

| Our heaviest duty system is designed to work with house pressures and
pump aided pressures up to 250 psi. Higher pressures produce more water volume and an even finer
mist that evaporates more efficiently. |
This system is designed for optional installation flexibility and
maximum number of nozzles at pressures up to 125 psi. Besides normal patio applications, this
system works exceptionally well in greenhouse applications. *Normal house pressures range between
35 psi and 90 psi. |
